Stand-Off Relatives

For them who think they can replace
And to those who think of themselves replacements
Think, and then think again
Because your existence in my heart can cause no displacement

The love I can withstand is more than hate
More than hatred itself
But to them that I am related
My love may have been late but never belated.

Endless emotions held for locals
Foreigners held on a leash
Unleashing love for ‘reigners’
And skepticism for them within reach
By other means
I trust no one
And this doesn't mean I love no one
But I had been in love with someone that deliberately did me wrong.

Comfort Confrontation

A dear companion once said
That comfort comes first in the head
And I agreed
To the highest degree until I am dead

Without peace and serenity
One would feel empty
Unless full of nothingness
But the best feeling is happiness

In a world of your own
Where everything is fully grown
In immaturity
Assurance is granted
For the satisfaction of everything you've ever wanted

Notice this
Nothing will be missed when innocence is bliss
For in the world of consolation
There is no condemnation for taking risks
Or having a peace of mind
And yet comfort still has the biggest piece of mine
But bear in mind, without comfort and consolation
Constant contemplation is an occupation of the mind.
