I'm Tired

Some things are in abundance
But other things are few
They want to be with a girl
But all I need is you

I'm tired to be smiling alone,
Tired to be talking with nobody on the phone.
I'm tired to be sleeping like a dead,
Tired to be awake with nobody in my bed.
I'm tired to be fantasizing,
Tired to have a song but with nobody to sing.
I'm tired to be keeping up with the Jones,
Tired of not having somebody for my own.
I'm tired to be sleeping without rest,
Tired to be constantly hoping for the best.
I'm tired to be hungry for love,
Tired to be asking God to send somebody form above.
I'm tired to be caught between the two,
Tired to be wishing I was with you.
I'm tired to be tired of this,
Tired of being tired of everything on this list.

Some ask for plenty
And get only two
I prayed for one
And God gave me you

My Distraction

Dear My Distraction;

I hereby write you this letter
Hoping things might get a little better.
You see our partial interaction?
It has led to my total distraction.
I used to be more focused on goals.
But now I am caught up in the fallacy that diamonds are girl's best friends,
Shifting me like a train off course.
Now I am heading the wrong way of course.
I know you are only doing your job,
And I might be impeding.
But I hope you see where this is leading.
First thing when I am awake,
Last thing when dreaming.
You have captured one tenth (1/10) of my ten percent (10%) total,
And this kind of interaction can be so brutal.

In advance I thank you for what I will propose.
Will you marry me was what I supposed.

Don't chew on that
Take some time to think

Yours truly,

I am,
OddLink

Genesis Synopsis *The Bible Story*

Creative beings are whom we are
Created in the likeness of creation
The sculptor and Creator of the nation
Whom formed us together from sand
When he said let us make man
Breathed into man the breath of life
Then from his ribs he made him a wife
Gave him authority and dominion over everything he place upon the land
Fowls of the air and fishes
And gave us the herbs and other dishes
There was nothing more a man could ask for
And if he did, he would not have to ask far
With the sweet communion of a friend
Man still fell short in the end
From a slothful deceit of the old dragon
Playing in the garden like a Leviathan
Through vain words it deceived.......the woman that Adam called Eve
Still from Adam to Abram things remained the same
Even though God changed his fate and his name
He made him the heir of several lands
And promised to bless him with his chosen generation
But still curse was the consequence through many toils and sneers
That affected them then, us now and even here.

Age vs. Maturity

How can age be compared to maturity,
When some maturation knows only full,
Never needed motivation; a push or pull.

Age serves as a decoy,
At age 2-10 years you were expected to play with toys.
In the regular realm of thinking that is,
Because realistically a child can perform majestically without thinking.
But it's perspective though,
Some will say that age is a number,
Yet what they forget, a young child would remember.

"Nothing is too great for anyone", someone claims..
Yet a child is tutored about the one who tries and fails.
How about failure is not an option?
Victory can be achieved by either birth or adoption,
While expectations yields limitations,
And compile contemplations on what is wrong or right.
Throwing a bunch of rules and hiding a bunch of truth from the light,
And what is to remain alive is buried beneath all kinds of fairy-tales and lies.
Hidden amongst misconceptions of false accusations,
That kills credibility with bad reputations.
It is now clear that maturity is independent of ageing or years.
